Dental Clinic
Through a funding opportunity under the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), aimed at addressing the CNMI’s oral health and well-being for children and adults, the Public Health Dental Clinic has reopened its doors and is currently recruiting for a full-time Dentist. After the untimely closure of the clinic, the Division of Public Health Services is honored to welcome back majority of the clinic’s former staff. As a subprogram of the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Program, the clinic will continue its efforts in addressing the issues related to the prevalence of dental caries among the young children in the CNMI.
The primary goals under this grant are to increase preventive visits by first birthday or eruption of first tooth, implement restorative referral/case management system, conduct the Sealant Preventive Program, and implement oral health awareness campaigns.
Once the clinic is fully-operational, the services that we will be providing are:
Preventative:
- Oral Examinations
